FX LSx BASIC Swap Kit - 4L80 Transmission
The LOJ Conversions Gen III/IV Chevrolet LS Engine into FX Basic Swap kit is the most economical engine installation package available for the Infiniti FX SUV (2003-2008 FX35 & FX45). This kit has been engineered specifically for the FX to make the installation of your LS engine as simple as possible when choosing to run a GM 4L80 Automatic Transmission. Every component required to successfully bolt an LSx Gen 3 or 4 engine into your FX is included with this kit.
This kit uses a 4L80 Automatic Transmission
The BASIC Kit Includes:
- LOJ LSx to FX Motor Mounts (CNC Cut and Bent Motor Mount Brackets, Billet Aluminum Mount Pedestals with Energy Suspension Polyurethane Inserts, Brackets are powdercoated for durability and include hardware)
- LOJ FX Swap Transmission Mount for 4L80 Transmission with Energy Suspension Transmission Mount
- LOJ LSx to FX Oil Pan (7qt Capacity, Road Race Baffling, Dipstick, Pickup Tube, Gasket, & Hardware)
- Includes Aluminum Driveshaft w/ 1410 Series U-Joints and Differential Adapter (CARBON FIBER Optional; Steel not available for FX due to length and driveshaft critical speed)
Notes:
- Installation of this kit WILL require modifications to the transmission tunnel to clear the bellhousing and transmission. Additional clearance will be needed to clear the transmission electrical connector as well.
- This kit is intended for 2WD FX ONLY. The GM AWD transmission options are not compatible with the layout of the FX. If you own an AWD FX, LOJ Conversions offers AWD to 2WD conversions kits!
