The LOJ Conversions Billet Aluminum Flexplate for the Nissan VQ37VHR and VQ35HR is simply the best upgrade you can make on your automatic transmission equipped Nissan and Infiniti vehicle. The stock Flexplate is made of a thin steel and commonly fails in vehicles making over 400WHP. The LOJ Conversions Flexplate is made from USA Sourced 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum. It is anodized red and laser engraved for long lasting good looks. It includes a Steel Tone Ring to keep the factory EFI system happy, and works with the stock starter. This fits a multitude of Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines with both 5-Speed and 7-Speed automatic transmissions. The Flexplate weighs in at just 7lb (3.2kg)

YOU CANNOT USE THE STOCK FLEXPLATE BOLTS! The stock flexplate is thinner than the billet flexplate and requires longer hardware. You have two options:
Option 1 - Run the ARP flexplate bolts offered as an option.
Option 2 - Run stock 12315-8J100 OEM manual transmission flywheel bolts or 12315-2J220 stock SR20 flywheel bolts. If you choose this option, install the stock flexplate spacer ring between the billet flexplate and the heads of the bolts to prevent the bolts from bottoming out in the crankshaft.
The ARP flexplate bolts that LOJ sells as an option ARE NOT 350Z ARP Flywheel Bolts! As a matter of fact, ARP does not even make bolts for the 350Z, those are simply Ford Modular V8 bolts sold as 350Z bolts because they have the same thread pitch. The Ford bolts are longer than OEM MT bolts and will bottom out in the crank in all scenarios.
